The [optional] pre-shoot consultation is the perfect opportunity for me to get to know you as a couple and understand your personalities, preferences, and any concerns you may have. This helps us get familiar before the photoshoot.
Choose a Familiar Location:

Incorporate Engaging Activities:
Think about activities that could be incorporated into the shoot to make you think less about the camera in front of you- this could be anything from a casual stroll, a secret handshake or even a dance you both enjoy.

Focus on each other rather than the camera. Genuine interactions and expressions often arise when you are in your own world and see nothing but each other.
Gentle Posing Guidance:
Though I prefer to mainly provide candid shots, I love offering my couples natural posing guidance and sometimes, to make things even easier, I like to show couples photos of specific poses to give them a better visual. I find that for most, starting off with directed poses helps warm the couple up to interactive candids.
Bring Props:
This could be as simple as popping a bottle of champagne or bringing items that hold sentimental value!
